PNG → PES Converter (Beta)

Convert PNG to PES for Brother machines

Turn any PNG into a Brother PES embroidery file in your browser. PES export is in beta — we recommend stitching a quick test swatch. DST export is production-ready today.

Heads up: PES export is in active beta. For guaranteed compatibility, export DST and convert in free Ink/Stitch, or test a small PES swatch on your machine before running production.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your PNG

Drop any PNG logo or artwork into the studio. Files load locally in your browser — no upload to a digitizer.

  2. 2

    Auto color separation

The studio detects each color region and snaps it to the nearest Isacord thread. Merge, drop, or remap colors before stitches generate.

  3. 3

Set hoop size for your Brother machine

Pick a hoop size — 4x4, 5x7, or your machine's largest. The studio scales density and underlay so the design stitches cleanly at that size.

  4. 4

    Preview in the stitch simulator

Watch the design sew exactly as your machine will run it. Confirm color order, jumps, and trims before exporting.

  5. 5

    Export PES (beta) or DST

Choose PES if your machine prefers it, or DST for a production-tested file. Test a swatch first with PES while the format is in beta.

Why it works

Brother-friendly output

PES is the native format for Brother home and PR-series machines. Beta export is included with every plan.

DST as a safety net

While PES is in beta, you can also export a DST and convert it in free Ink/Stitch — guaranteed compatible.

Auto color separation

Snap your logo to an Isacord thread palette in seconds. Edit any color mapping before generating stitches.

Browser-based

No software install. Works on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, and any modern browser.

Frequently asked questions

Why is PES export marked beta?+
PES has more variants than DST and we're still refining edge cases. For most flat-color logos it produces a clean file, but we recommend stitching a small test swatch before running production. DST export is production-ready today.
What's the safest option while PES is in beta?+
Export a DST from the studio and convert it to PES using free Ink/Stitch. DST is industry-standard and converts cleanly. Or use the beta PES export and verify on a test swatch first.
Which Brother machines does PES target?+
Brother PR-series multi-needle machines and most home machines (PE-series, SE-series, Innov-is) that read PES v6+. Match the hoop size you select in the studio to your machine's largest hoop.
Will the file fit a 4x4 or 5x7 hoop?+
Yes. Set the design width in inches or millimeters in the studio before exporting. The studio re-tunes stitch density to suit the new size.
Can I export both PES and DST from the same project?+
Yes. Open the export menu and pick either format — re-export anytime without losing your color mapping or edits.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. 3 days of the full studio including both DST and beta PES export. No credit card to start.
