How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your PNG

Drag any PNG into the studio — transparent backgrounds, flat-color logos, scanned artwork, or detailed illustrations. Files stay in your browser; nothing is sent to a digitizer.

  2. 2

    Let auto color separation run

The studio detects each color region and snaps it to the nearest Isacord thread. You can merge similar shades, drop a color, or remap any region with one click before stitches are generated.

  3. 3

Set your hoop size and stitch density

Pick a width in inches or millimeters. The studio scales stitch counts, underlay, and pull compensation to keep the design clean at the new size — no manual re-digitizing required.

  4. 4

    Preview the realistic stitch simulator

See the design as it will actually sew: fills, satins, jumps, and color stops, in the order your machine will run them. Catch problems before you put thread in the needle.

  5. 5

    Export your DST

One click writes a clean Tajima DST file with the color sequence preserved. Drops onto any commercial machine that accepts DST — Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, SWF, Brother PR, QH-XC1201 and more.

Why it works

100% in your browser

No software install, no upload to a service. Works on macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, and any modern browser.

Auto color separation

Built-in palette mapping snaps to Isacord references, so production starts from real thread numbers, not guesses.

Realistic stitch simulator

Watch the design sew before you sew it. Spot jump-stitch issues, density problems, and color order mistakes early.

Clean DST output

Tajima-spec DST that runs on every commercial multi-needle machine. Color stops and trims preserved.

Frequently asked questions

Is the DST file machine-ready?+
Yes. The studio writes Tajima-spec DST with proper color stops and trims. It runs on most commercial multi-needle machines including Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, SWF, Brother PR series, and the QH-XC1201.
How long does the conversion take?+
Most PNGs convert in seconds. Detailed multi-color artwork can take a little longer while the studio separates colors and generates stitches, but everything runs locally — there is no queue.
Will my PNG with a transparent background work?+
Yes. Transparent PNGs are ideal because the studio can isolate each color region cleanly without subtracting a background.
What if my logo has gradients or photo-realistic detail?+
Auto color separation will pick the dominant colors. For best embroidery results, simplify gradients to 4–8 flat colors before export. The studio lets you merge colors interactively before generating stitches.
Can I edit the design before exporting?+
Yes — remap any color to a different Isacord thread, change the stitch order, adjust hoop size, and re-preview in the simulator. Re-export your DST anytime.
Do I need a credit card to try it?+
No. Start a 3-day free trial of the full studio, including DST export. You only add a card if you decide to continue.
What about PES, JEF, or EXP?+
PES export is in beta. For other formats today, export DST and convert in free Ink/Stitch. Native multi-format export is on the roadmap.
