Why convert from JPG instead of PNG?+
Use whatever you have. JPGs need a little more cleanup because of compression and missing transparency, but the studio handles both. If you have the original PNG or SVG, that will give cleaner edges.
Will JPG compression ruin the embroidery?+
Not if it's a clean logo at a reasonable resolution. The studio posterizes and snaps to a thread palette, which removes most compression noise. For dense photo-realistic JPGs, simplify before importing.
What hoop sizes are supported?+
Any hoop your machine supports. Set the design width in inches or millimeters and the studio rescales stitch density, underlay, and pull compensation.
Will the DST run on my machine?+
Yes for any commercial machine that accepts Tajima DST — Tajima, Barudan, ZSK, SWF, Brother PR, QH-XC1201 and similar.
